When I decided to apply to the RCA two years ago, I wrote in my old Statement that I wanted to use my work to transform the world into a better place. At that time, I had just graduated from Fudan University with a degree in Western Philosophy. I was confident that I was familiar enough with the theory of Art Philosophy and was expecting to undertake some attempts at artistic practice to enrich my approach again.
